Sew a needle pulling thread

Sometimes a free gift with a magazine is so perfect you can't resist, I felt this way about these little stamps that I got free recently with "Simply Homemade" they did come with matching papers but I decided to go on another route.

I saw a card on Kerry's blog using these papers and thought oh I like those so I went and got them and have used them already.

I normally mat everything onto matching card but these papers looked better without that, have some bits left over so may make another card yet.

Brilliant! I agree about the papers not needing any backing, they do a perfect job as they are. Love the image too :) Di xx

Di again!

Duck eggs are larger than hen's eggs but not massively so - the cake I'm baking uses three medium hen's eggs so I'll use two duck eggs instead. It's a new try for me too - I think they can be eaten scrambled etc. and are richer than hen's eggs. I spotted ducks eggs in Sainsburys last week BTW!

Happy Easter to you too,

Di xx

Di yet again Amanda! Just spotted your comment about Martha Stewart PATP sets and you losing the will to live, I did laugh about it being more stressful than a day at work - that must have been some PATP wrestling session!!

BUT, something I only discovered fairly recently and have already saved one crafter from insanity by sharing it. Did you know that PATP sets can be different sizes 'cos some of them are the deeper designs, thereby meaning that you have to cut your initial piece of paper/card to a different size?

Here's some more info - http://www.blockheadstamps.com/catalog/Stamping-Tools/Paper-Punches/Punch-Around

Hope this helps, otherwise there are some good tutorials on the 'net if you Google 'Using PATP punches'. But, if you're waaaay out I suspect that maybe, just maybe, you have a deeper set. Measurements are in the link I put above - don't know how to properly add a link into comments yet. My task for today I think :)

Raining here - sigh, will just have to stay indoors and play, the slide is all wet in the snippets playground :)
